A NOTE FROM THE PUBLISHER - FALL 2019

Note from Publisher Fall 2019

Through most of history, the lighthouse has served as a symbol of the beacon that brings us safely back to shore. Landed, grounded, home.

Nowadays we're seeking calmer shores in many areas of life and there are a multitude of signs and symbols to help lead the way.

Home has taken on new meaning as well. A word that used to mean four walls and a white picket fence has evolved to include any space to which we lend our presence. Our bodies, our place on the planet, the roots of our genetic heritage, and our families. All spaces we can now call home, and all environments which merit our attention and care.

This issue is dedicated to all such spaces. Amongst these pages, I hope you'll find a beacon that pulls you closer to one of those shores. Home.

Much love, Jennifer
