FEAR AS FOE
Spring has sprung, dust bunnies are flying, closets are clear, and everything seems a bit brighter these days.
So what’s that nagging feeling that something’s not quite spic and span?
Clearing our surroundings is a most excellent start to making internal shifts, too. That external scrub makes way for the internal dust bunnies to rise to the surface, and that can prove to be quite uncomfortable.
Are you experiencing any of these?
Doubt
Hesitation
Procrastination
Lack of Clarity
Uncertainty
Failure to Launch
Dissatisfaction
Desire to escape
Usually, these discomforts narrow down to one root cause: FEAR. Fear of failure, or of success. Fear of visibility, vulnerability, or not being enough. The subconscious (or maybe even conscious!) patterns causing them can be carried with us from other lifetimes, from social and familial influences, or from a series of our own mistakes.
And, they have a habit of sneaking up on us just as we set our sights on a new desire or goal.
The good news is, it is possible to shift and clear all of these!
5 TIPS FOR CLEARING YOUR INTERNAL CLOSET THIS SPRING
Cut the Crap: It’s easy to see when our closets get messy, but not so much when our energy field gets congested. Picture the Peanuts character “Pigpen” who walks around in a perpetual cloud of dust. This is what our energy bodies look like when we don’t regularly maintain them. Great ways to clear include sea salt or other healing bath, sound frequencies, energy work, exercise, smudging, or crystal healing therapy.
Release Relationship Stagnancies: A cutting of the ties visualization is great for maintaining healthy relationships. All relationships carry patterns, interactions, and baggage from each person involved. This process doesn’t sever the connection with the other person, rather, it cleans up muddied waters so that all interactions moving forward are optimal without distraction or interference from old or unhealthy exchanges or patterns.
Organize: Your thoughts, your intentions, your actions: Now that your energy body and relationships are clear, you can start putting things into perspective. How would you rate your thoughts? Be honest with yourself. Are you focusing on dissatisfying elements in your life or keeping your focus on your intentions for an optimal life? Set yourself up to keep your vibration in check by writing and stating your intentions every day.
Label Your Blessings with Gratitude: Create a list of what you’re grateful for and post i
t where you can see it. Keeping this list handy and visible is a great way to offset negative thoughts before they become negative emotions and have a chance to take root.
Shine Your Light: When it comes to keeping the internal clutter at bay, the best defense is a good offense. Let your passions and life force energy shine through you. A steady flow of your gratitude, compassion, and talent will keep your cells and auric field spic and span from the inside out.
